Come discover the coolest of new art music in our ongoing collaboration between trumpeter Stephen Burns, Fulcrum Point New Music Project and ~Nois Saxophone Quartet. Featuring the World Premiere of Shawn Okpepholo’s “Black Music”, which in the composer’s words… “embraces and captures elements of Black artistry, experience, and joy” this concert invokes the horn lines of Motown and the improvisations of Hard Bop in Scott Johnson’s “Raised By Wolves”.
